We were sent the Sally costume in exchange for an honest review. All opinions as always are my own.
I love Halloween, and my kids usually have their costumes picked out way ahead of time- sometimes as early as August. But this year we’re seriously slacking. I blame the move, and six year old indecisiveness. I kind of wanted the kids to coordinate, like last year. They were Mystery Inc, and we managed to get all the parts aside from Bacon’s costume at a thrift shop. It was super easy and fun to make.
This year, Bacon wants to be Snoopy- pretty obvious. And because of the upcoming movie, I was able to find him a costume locally which surprised me. I’m sure if we’d tried to find it last year, we’d have had to make something for him.
But none of the other kids want to be the rest of the Peanuts gang, and Lili is wary on matching at all. Instead, she chose to be Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Since it’s a Disney costume, it was easy to find online at Costume SuperCenter. Lili’s at the size where kid costumes are too small, and adult ones are too slutty, so I was happy to find it as a ‘tween’ choice.
It came with the dress, wig, fingerless gloves and pettiskirt for a super reasonable price. Now we just need to find her some white tights with stitching and figure out how she wants to do her make up. Sally has stitching all over her bluish face and neck too, but we can do that easily with an eyeliner pencil.

So now do any of you have any amazing ideas for the twins? If they don’t decide soon, we’ll be stuck with whatever we can find in their size around here, and that never works out well. In the past, they’ve been superheros, vampires, and lawn gnomes.
As for Mia, I think I have something up my sleeve that will work for her- stay tuned.
